It came out of a real problem — losing track of artists discovered while hiring — and is designed to keep that work private and on your own device. ## faq **Where is my data?** Artkive keeps all your data on your own device, in your browser. Nothing is synced to a server, and you can export your whole roster anytime — so there's no lock-in. **Which browsers and operating systems does Artkive support?** The Artkive extension runs on Chrome on any desktop operating system. Safari support isn't planned; Firefox may come later. **What exactly is captured when I save an artist?** Saving an artist captures their name, bio, skills, headline, location, follower and project counts, what they're open to, their software, social links, résumé link, and a strip of recent work thumbnails — everything from the public page you're already viewing. **What happens if an artist deletes their profile?** Your saved record stays with you even if an artist removes their profile, though their images may stop loading once the profile is deleted.
